How our Practice Differs

Many chiropractic practices and physiotherapy practices are pushing patients through their practice with extremely short appointments. There is barely enough time to treat, let alone provide the care that is needed to prevent ongoing issues. At Health 4 the Whole Person, we provide lengthy appointments of a minimum of 45 minutes (sometimes much longer) at the same or less cost that other physio or chiro practices charge for treatment. Physiotherapists and chiropractors are both healthcare professionals who specialize in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, but they employ distinct approaches and techniques to achieve therapeutic outcomes.  We are strong advocates for physiotherapy as opposed to chiropractic services for a number of reasons.   1. Primarily focus on spinal manipulation and alignment. 
  2.  Interventions are primarily focused on a set-procedure of spinal manipulations and rarely involve other modalities.
  3. Often the focus of the care is treating symptoms and not on underlying causes.
  4. Treatment plans are not as personalised and typically follow a set pattern.
  5. The tendency is to create dependence on having regular chiropractic appointments. This is achieved through limited education.
